I am happy to blog again! Summer is busy. We school year round and take a break when needed. Well, it is time for school once again. As hard as it is to admit I do better when there is a routine. This week is slated for home improvements, but the children will be working on subjects that do not need my help. Hopefully, occupped children will help our home run more smoothly!
Baking: Best Bread for children’s sandwiches, Almond-Nutmeg Granola, and French Bread
L~~Lentils/Brown Rice (making extras for leftovers) and for me….
D~~PARTY!!! Hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, potato salad and veggie tray
B~~Bacon and Eggs and Biscuts
L~~Sandwiches or Leftovers
L~~Beef Stroganoff (in crockpot) served with fresh veggies
I normally do not serve leftovers so often, but I know this will be another crazy week. We have a list of household projects that need to be completed, a big birthday party for two of the children, a sleepover (the same night), ballet class and recital plus the normal shopping, housework, and child-rearing. So sandwiches and leftovers will be commonplace this week. There will be a couple of exciting choices like cucumber soup, BLT (absolutely awesome on whole wheat bread and pepper jack cheese) and the party!
